Post Your Way to the 2010 Bridge Conference Contest
We’re getting very excited about the upcoming conference, The Bridge from School to Afterschool and Back, happening on October 18 & 19, 2010, in Vancouver, WA. We hope that many of you are getting excited as well and we invite you to share your excitement with us.
Today, August 10, 2010, we are launching our first-ever Bridge Conference contest. Between today and September 15, 2010, anyone who posts a comment related to the Bridge Conference on the School’s Out Washington Facebook page will be entered in a drawing for a $100 scholarship to this year’s Bridge Conference.
If you’ve never been to the Bridge Conference, then tell us why you’d like to attend. If you have attended, you can talk about great things from years past or about the upcoming conference. Really, any topic which relates somehow to the Bridge Conference will qualify your post for the contest. You can talk about a presenter that interests you, a session topic that intrigues you, or even ask us questions.
To help you out, the full conference program is now on up the Bridge website. Comments to other people's posts on our page also count. Likes do not - sorry!.
If you’ve already registered for this year’s conference, yes, the $100 will be applied, even if you’ve already paid in full. One entry per person, regardless of number of posts or comments. The winner will be selected by random drawing of all eligible people on September 2, 2010, and notified that day.
