The Afterschool Hall of Fame Award Ceremony was organized to recognize those individuals and organizations that have provided dedicated leadership to the advancement of the field of afterschool in Washington State. Leadership around afterschool issues in Washington State is critical, as more research points to the positive outcomes youth experience when involved in out-of-school time programming.

Nomination Process: Each year for the past seven years, constituents from across the state submit nominations in the categories of educator, policy maker, community member, funder  and business leader. We choose the winners from the nominations. Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination.

Past Afterschool Hall of Fame Champions: We express our gratitude for all the honorees, past and present, for their generous hearts and service on behalf of youth and children. You can view a list of the awardees from 2005-2008 and a list of those from 2009-2010.
