About The Bridge from School to Afterschool and Back Conference: Now in it's 11th year, the Bridge Conference brings together afterschool and youth development (AYD) professionals, school leaders (e.g. superintendents, principals and classroom teachers), funders, researchers, policymakers, trainers/coaches and business leaders from across the country. The Conference focuses on cutting-edge research, resources and strategies relevant to strengthening the services that youth (in grades K-12) receive both in and out of school.

About Keynote, Will Power:  Combining performance and presentation, personal anecdotes with observations, award-winning playwright, performer, and educator Will Power will explore with conference attendees ways to build healthy, creative connections between youth, colleagues, and community, and how to use the arts as a tool towards collective empowerment. Mr. Power is an Artist-in-Residence at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. He is a pioneer in Hip Hop Theater and recently created hip hop version of Caliban's "The isle is full of noises" speech from The Tempest for the Royal Shakepeare Company's online myShakespeare project.
