Bridge 2010 Scholarships

WASHINGTON STATE SCHOLARSHIPS - A few come open as of 10/5/10!
We are currently accepting applications for $75 scholarships to the 2010 Bridge Conference. These scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible applicants. Scholarship funds are to be applied towards the registration fee and cannot be used for travel, lodging, meals or other conference expenses. To qualify, the attendee must:
- Work in a Washington State licensed, exempt, or tribally-certified child care or afterschool program;
- Not be a Washington State employee, (including, but not limited to, Head Start, ECEAP or a school district).
A maximum of five attendees per site may receive scholarships. Each attendee must fill out a separate form for her or himself.
These scholarships are funded by the Department of Early Learning. To apply, click on the green "Apply Now" button and complete the application form on-line.
OREGON STATE SCHOLARSHIPS
Full scholarships to this conference are available on a first come, first served basis for licensed school age programs in Oregon. To apply, complete the scholarship form found at centerline.pdx.edu and submit it to the Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education (OCCD). Each scholarship will cover the early registration fee of $275. If you live more than 50 miles from Vancouver, WA you can request an additional $125 award for lodging payable to either the Hilton Vancouver Hotel or the Red Lion Hotel Vancouver. Scholarships are limited to two applicants per program. Organizations with multiple sites or centers will be limited to two scholarships for the organization.
Scholarship recipients will be contacted by email or phone and given instructions for applying the award to the conference registration and hotel reservations. To make reservations, please contact the hotel directly. Be sure to mention "the Bridge Conference" to get the special rate. Rates do not include local taxes and fees.
