Celebrate Summer Learning Day & Put WA on the Map!

by School's Out Washington | | Posted under Afterschool and Summer News, Policy & Legislation, School's Out News

Summer Learning Day is a national advocacy day coordinated by the National Summer Learning Association, aimed at elevating the importance of keeping kids learning, safe and healthy every summer, ensuring they return to school in the fall ready to succeed.

A big thank you to Washington State Governor Jay Inslee for proclaiming July 12 Summer Learning Day in our state, and helping to raise awareness around the critical role of quality summer programs in keeping kids learning, healthy, and engaged during the summer months.

Join School's Out Washington and take advantage of this opportunity to send a powerful message and build public will among community, key leaders and stakeholders, and families around the importance of quality summer programs.
