Survey on King County Afterschool & Summer Needs Available in Multiple Languages

by Danielle Baer | | Posted under Afterschool and Summer News

As we've shared in past communications, King County Best Starts for Kids is partnering with School's Out Washington to create more opportunities for children and young people to flourish outside of the school day.  Best Starts and SOWA will work together to ensure that high-quality afterschool and summer programs are available so that all King County children and young people have the learning opportunities they deserve to thrive.

SOWA is currently in the process of conducting a landscape study to better understand families' needs when it comes to accessing programming before and afterschool, and during the summer for children and youth in kindergarten through 8th grade in order to guide investment of these funds.

We have an open 2 question survey for families to help inform this study, and are asking for help spreading the word to other parents and caregivers!

The survey is available in the following languages, please click on the language below to be directed to the survey in that specific language.

English

Somali

Vietnamese

Russian

Simplified Chinese

Spanish

If you have any questions, please contact Omana Imani, King County Expanded Learning Opportunities Systems Director at OImani@schoolsoutwashington.org or (206) 436-8474.
