We'd like to share some STEM-focused professional development opportunities from Woodland Park Zoo.

The Zoo's programs for educators are focused on empowering educators with a strong foundation in ecological literacy, skills in inquiry-based learning and principles of field investigation. Their professional development programs provide educators with necessary knowledge, skills and resources to bring meaningful environmental and sustainability education to their students or other audiences. Clarification on Licensed Program Scholarship to SOWA's STARS-Approved Trainings

Thanks to our partnership with the Department of Early Learning (DEL), there are a lot of options for staff of licensed school-age care programs to get STARS credits from School's Out Washington at no cost to them.

With there being so many different options to choose from, we've heard it's a bit confusing. We thought it might help to provide a bit of clarity on how to sign up for all the different options.
