The Impact of Quality Programs
Quality Youth Programs Get Results
Afterschool programs are a vital resource for thousands of kids in Washington state. Research has shown that regular participation in high-quality programs is directly related to a broad range of positive outcomes, from academic success and improved school attendance, to better health and increased confidence. High-quality programs are particularly beneficial for youth in under-served communities who often have limited access to enriching activities during non-school hours.
