21st CCLC Summer Institute 2017

This three-day conference is open to all Washington 21st CCLC grantees to engage with a learning community and network of other programs and providers. Together, we will have the opportunity to inspire learning and engagement with enriching content and project-based learning. 

This is an opportunity to come together to celebrate the work, be inspired, and share ideas and strategies, as well as build skills in new activities and approaches to implement into programs, practices, and management efforts.

Highlighted sessions include Structural Racism, Social Emotional Learning, Brain Development and Learning, Leadership, Trauma Informed Practice, and Connecting Curriculum with the School Day, among others.

OSPI has a held a block of rooms at Semiahmoo Resort for the conference. Participants will be required to secure rooms with their own credit card and will be responsible for all charges, including charges incurred if there is a no show without appropriate cancellation. Reservations with the secured room rate of $91 must be made prior to July 18, 2017.

Semiahmoo Resort is 24 miles (32 minutes) from Bellingham International Airport, 35 miles (1 hour plus the border wait) from Vancouver, BC, International Airport, and 129 miles (2 hours) from Seattle Tacoma International Airport.
