Online School-Age STARS Courses (One-Year Access)

STARS Credits: Up to 36 Ongoing Credits!

Note: As of March 1, 2020, DCYF has a new policy in order to receive STARS Credit for Online Courses.

Join School's Out Washington's Online Learning Platform to get access to 36 award-winning online trainings developed by Cypherworx, an organization providing state-approved professional development training to out-of-school time providers. The trainings tie to the National Core Competencies developed by National Afterschool Association, and the Washington State Core Competencies and Quality Standards. Each of the 36 courses qualifies for 2 STARS credits. Membership gets you unlimited access to all 36 courses (worth up to 72 STARS credits) for one full calendar year from the time you start your first course.

Note: This online coursework is for people working with School Age children (ages 5-12 years old). If you are working with preschool & infants only, this is not the training for you.  Please use the MERIT portal to search for the early learning training opportunities.
