School-Age Only Child Care Regulations Updates – Public Forum (Eastern Washington, May 31, 2019)
DCYF and SOWA are working together to implement a recommendation process for improving and updating the School-Age Only Child Care regulations (WAC 110-305) also known as Washington Administrative Codes (WACs). The intent is to improve these regulations so that they reflect best-practices for working with school-age children, support quality learning environments, and align with the business of school-age child care. The process will include a robust stakeholder engagement process that includes incorporating in-person public sessions.
We have a public convening in the Eastern Washington on Friday, May 31, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Northeast Washington Educational Service District 101, 4202 S Regal Street, Spokane, WA 99223.
We will provide snacks, but please bring a sack lunch.
