Spring into Action: A Pre-Conference Collaboration Opportunity With:
- The 21st CCLC Program
- The Foster Care Program
- The Institutional Education Program
The pre-conference meeting is an opportunity for the 21st CCLC program, the Foster Care program, and the Institutional Education program to get together to hear and share experiences while working with youth. Participants will be introduced to:
• Key findings of the “Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES)” study, provided with a framework for understanding the relationship of trauma and learning;
• Helpful tools, strategies and resources;
• Self-care for ourselves and fueling our team.
The pre-conference will have opportunities for small and large group discussions as well as discussion across program areas. The Program Supervisor from your area will be emailing you with more information as it becomes available.
Where: Wenatchee Convention Center, Orchard Exhibit Hall South
When: Wednesday, May 22, 2019 @ 8:00 AM - 12:00 P; Registration and Continental Breakfast @ 7:30 AM and Buffet Lunch @ 12:00 PM-12:45 PM
